Description

This seminar is aimed at familiarising teachers with the sub-strand Creating text in [Language] within the revised Western Australian Curriculum: Languages for Pre-primary to Year 6. Teachers will be invited to notice how students develop their ability to create spoken, written and multimodal texts for a range of purposes, audiences and contexts.

Outcome

Teachers will be encouraged to make connections between the curriculum documents and their current teaching practices, and to identify opportunities to strengthen students' capacity to communicate meaningfully and creatively in the target language through their teaching programs.
