The purpose of this briefing is to familiarise teachers with the relationship between the Australian Curriculum for Languages (such as Spanish, Modern Greek, Arabic) and the revised Western Australian Curriculum for Languages, including:
- key similarities and differences between the curriculum structures
- implications for planning, teaching and assessing
- practical approaches for implementing the Australian Curriculum while meeting Western Australian curriculum and reporting requirements.
