This seminar is designed for teachers delivering the Year 11 and Year 12 Preliminary Visual Arts course in 2025.
Outcome
The seminar will aim to provide opportunities for teachers to:
-understand course requirements
-examine and discuss sample assessment tasks
-review and discuss student assessment files
ask clarifying questions.
This event will be an invaluable opportunity to assist teachers in preparing for the Visual Arts Preliminary Validation Meeting scheduled for Term 2, 2025.
Event notes
The workshop is not compulsory and is free to attend; however, schools are responsible for teacher relief and any travel and accommodation expenses (if required).
Registration will close one day before the event. Participants are encouraged to bring one assessment task to share with others. An Outlook invitation with a link to the Microsoft Teams meeting will be sent to participants, one day prior to the event.
