Description
Teachers and Heads of Learning Area of Year 11 and 12 General and ATAR Mathematics are advised the School Curriculum and Standards Authority will be conducting workshops designed to support the teaching and assessing of Year 11 and 12 General and ATAR Mathematics courses.
The workshops will focus on teaching through the intent of each of the courses and the effective use of assessment types that elicit a full range of achievement.
Outcome
Teachers will be provided with examples of Practical Applications, Investigations and Response tasks, with marking guides, developed for use in West Australian schools.
Event notes
Registration is essential for all face to face workshops.
The workshops are free to attend and are not compulsory.
Schools are responsible for any costs incurred (for example, teacher relief or travel) as a result of attendance at the workshops.
